一 、學會預測
雅思試卷中有一些是套話，做題時可以省略不用細看。
1 .聽力方面
You will hear a number of different recordings and you will have to answer questions on what you hear.
There will be time for you to read the instructions and questions and you will have a chance to check your work.
All recordings will be played once only.
The test is in four sections. Write your answers in the listening question booklet.
At the end of the test you will be given ten minutes to transfer your answers to an answer sheet.
You will see that there is an example, which has been done for you.
On this occasion, only the conversation relating to this will be played first.
2 .閱讀方面
You are advised to spend about 20 minutes on the questions based on the reading passage below.
3 .寫作方面
You should spend no more than 60 minutes on the two tasks. You should write at least 150 words on Task One, and 250 words on Task Two.
4 .口語方面
Describe this topic. You should include the
following items. Then tell the examiner something more about the topic.
在正式聆聽前，您會有時間閱讀試卷紙，您應趁這段時間預測您將會聽到的內容。預測愈準，分數愈高。試預測會有多少人說話，他們會做什么，說什么和會用什么詞。

二、仔細聽寫
聽力測驗的第一部份是四部份之中最簡單的。您應有心理準備每部份都會比之前的較深。如您的英語程度是屬于起碼中等水平，您通常都會在第一部分取得高分，但緊張或心理未入狀態(tài)很可能令您在第一部分就失分。
聽寫技巧：
1，關注所劃的路標詞，弄清題目的意思，知道應留意什么答案
2，用速記方法記錄有用資料或填寫答案
3，隨時準備答題，進入高度戒備狀態(tài)
4，留意答案可能會在答案紙上找到

注意： 有時答案會在很早的時候，甚至是第1句就出現
有時2個答案會在短時間內接連說出
2，說話人有時會改變主意
3，不要輕易寫答案，等聽完整句后再填寫,答案一般在最后出現
4，重復和強調是考點
5，語音重讀的是考點
6，在對話中，有問必有答，問答為考點
6，留意記號句的出現和語氣音調突然轉變，這樣可以幫助注意什么時候轉問題。當您發(fā)現下一條問題已開始的時候，就算您還未完成之前的一條問題，您也應該轉到下一條。
以下是一些記號句的例子：

三、清楚謄寫
1，關于大小寫：
需要注意以下幾點首字母大寫：
a.表格里面的內容一般要求大寫
上下文對應位置大寫的你也要大寫
b.特殊名詞 ：時間 地點 人名 職位
2，關于縮寫
普遍承認的縮寫均可使用
a.1st April,1998=April 1st,1998 但是不能寫成Apr
b.pound,dollar 建議縮寫成符號
c.am/AMA.M. AD BC都可以寫成縮寫的形式
d.professor 如果后接人名，需要大寫成Pro.prostitute Prof.
CHECK
四、全力檢查 check技巧：
1，查答案紙上的單詞拼寫
答案能否清楚地讓人看得明白。
2，將答案放入原題中查答案的文法、句法是否正確，尤其注意大小寫、單復數。
3，根據機經回憶，猜測所有聽不到或不懂的答案，千萬不要留空。
