《北京遇上西雅圖2》其實它的副標題《不二情書》才是正片片名。這次女神不再是文青拜金女，搖身一變風情萬種個性颯爽的賭場公關;吳秀波則一甩木訥老實的落魄樣，轉身已成洛杉磯能說會道的房地產經紀人。
兩個身在異國的陌生人，竟然陰差陽錯的一本書，兩個人開始通信往來——《查令街84號》，講述兩個愛書人：紐約女作家和倫敦舊書店老板因為機緣巧合開始書信往來最后成為精神至交的故事，好像在湯女神和吳暖男身上也再次上演了。

84, Charing Cross Road is a 1970 book by Helene Hanff, later made into a stage play, television play, and film, about the twenty-year correspondence between the author and Frank Doel, chief buyer of Marks & Co antiquarian booksellers, located at the eponymous address in London, England.
《查令街84號》是海蓮·漢芙于1970撰寫的小說，之后被改編為舞臺劇、電視劇和電影;故事講述了作家和坐落于英國倫敦 “查令街84號” 的馬克斯與科恩書店的書商弗蘭克·德爾之間長達20年的通信往來。
注：馬克斯與科恩書店現已停止營業，但是在查令十字路84號臨街的墻上，如今釘上了銘牌，以記錄這段讀書人奉為佳話的故事。
1987年的經典同名電影也非常值得一看。中譯名《柔情一紙牽》將整個故事的精髓一語道盡。IMDB上無數觀眾都表示，這是“A truly good movie, nothing to change!”

I like the technique used in this film. The interaction between Helene and her British friends occurs only through letters, so rather than have the characters write a letter and then dub what is written, eventually, the characters just face the camera and say what they would have written, with the camera cutting back and forth for each others response at times.
我喜歡這部電影的手法。海蓮和她英國朋友的互動只躍于書信上，而不是角色寫下書信然后配音，最終，角色只是面對著鏡頭說出了他們所寫的，鏡頭只是反復來回切換彼此的反應。
