什么是“匯率中間價”？

據中國人民銀行授權中國外匯交易中心公布，5月8日銀行間外匯市場人民幣匯率中間價為1美元對人民幣6.1980元，再創歷史新高。

The People's Bank of China on Wednesday set the daily reference rate of the yuan against the dollar at 6.1980, the highest since China unified the official and market exchange rates at the end of 1993.
