全球排名第11位 全國生活成本最高城市——上海
Shanghai is now on par with Tokyo, moving up twoplaces to become the 11th most expensive city in theworld to live in, and the most expensive on theChinese mainland, according to a 2023 worldwidecost of living report released by the EconomistIntelligence Unit on Thursday.
根據(jù)經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)人智庫上周四發(fā)布的2023年全球生活成本調(diào)查報(bào)告顯示,如今上海已與東京比肩,在全球生活成本城市榜單中排名上升兩位至全球第11位,同時(shí)也成為中國大陸生活成本最高的城市。
Despite a weak yuan in 2023, Chinese citiescontinued to see their cost of living rise. Shenzhen, which was ranked 39th in 2023 and 28th in2023, jumped to 16th last year, while Beijing, which stayed at around 46th place in 2023 and2023, also moved up 15 spots, to 31st. Dalian, Chengdu, Suzhou, Guangzhou and Tianjin allmade the Top 60.
盡管2023年人民幣疲軟,但是中國城市的生活成本仍然在上升。深圳在2023年排名第39位,在2023年排名第28位,去年則躍升至第16位。而北京在2023年和2023年排名都在第46位左右,2023年則上升15位至全球第31位。此外,大連、成都、蘇州、廣州和天津都排在前六十名。
Singapore remained the world's most expensive city, and another two Asian cities also made itinto the Top 10. Hong Kong, together with Zurich, took 2nd place, while Seoul took 8th.
新加坡仍然是全世界生活成本最高的城市,還有另外兩座亞洲城市入圍前十名。香港與蘇黎世并列第2名,而首爾則位居第8名。
A white-collar worker who worked in Beijing and is now living in Shanghai told the Beijing Newsthat the cost to rent a home in Shanghai is on a par with Beijing. Transportation costs areslightly higher in Shanghai and spending on dining out or high-end goods and services aremuch higher than in Beijing.
一名曾在北京工作、現(xiàn)在居住在北京的白領(lǐng)對(duì)北京資訊表示,在上海租房的價(jià)格已經(jīng)和在北京一樣了。交通花銷要比北京稍高,而外出吃飯或者高端商品及服務(wù)都要比北京高很多。
"The average monthly living cost for a couple would be about 7,000 to 8,000 yuan," the white-collar said.

According to the Julius Baer Lifestyle Index 2023, released by Swiss bank Julius Baer and Co,the cost of housing in Shanghai rose 15 percent in 2023. Compared with other Asian cities, theaverage price for a men's jacket of a well-known brand is 34 percent higher in Shanghai, whilealcohol is 21 percent higher, and watches 16 percent higher. When it comes to services, theprice of plastic surgery, wedding banquets, medical care and real estate services in Shanghaiare almost double the average price in other Asian cities.
