　　考生在備考GMAT數(shù)學(xué)考試時(shí)，除了要通過(guò)大量練習(xí)來(lái)掌握GMAT數(shù)學(xué)的解題方法和技巧外，還需要對(duì)GMAT數(shù)學(xué)考試中經(jīng)常用到的一些基本詞匯和概念進(jìn)行記憶，以輔助GMAT數(shù)學(xué)備考工作的進(jìn)行。下面留學(xué)將對(duì)GMAT數(shù)學(xué)考試中經(jīng)常用到的一些詞匯和基本概念進(jìn)行歸納，以供廣大考生參考。

　　其中1st Quartile的k%=25%

　　2nd Quartile的k%=50%

　　例：

　　中數(shù)median： a value in an ordered set of values below and above which there is an equal number of values or which is the arithmetic mean of the two middle values if there is no one middle number。即一個(gè)順序排列數(shù)集的中間數(shù)，如果數(shù)序列為奇數(shù)，則中間的數(shù)為中數(shù)，如果數(shù)序列為偶數(shù)，則中間兩數(shù)的平均數(shù)為中數(shù)。

　　平均數(shù)，指的是所有數(shù)的平均。

　　眾數(shù)，指的是數(shù)集中出現(xiàn)頻率最高的數(shù)。

　　值域，指的是數(shù)集中最大數(shù)減最小數(shù)。即
