十八、強調句 類別 例 句 結構解析 強調句的基本結構 It is I who am a teacher. It is they who often help me with my lessons. It was him that/whom/who they saw stealing yesterday. It was then that he got there. It is at school that he reads English. It was because the water had risen that they could not cross the river. It was what he said at the meeting that made her angry. It was the village where I was brought up that I visited yesterday. (1)It is/was＋被強調部分＋that/who(whom)＋原句剩余部分。 (2)被強調部分可以是句子的主語、賓語或狀語，這些成分可能是一個詞，一個短語或一個從句，甚至更復雜的結構。 (3)強調句型中的it沒有實際意義，由于它處在主語的位置，其后的動詞用is/was。不管強調的是什么成分，后面的引導詞都可用that，若強調“人”，也可以用who。
(4)這句型的謂語動詞也可能有其他時態或帶上情態動詞。例如：
It will be Bill who speaks first.
It must have been Jack that forgot to lock the door. It may be this sense of humor that makes him popular.

強調句的疑問句式：
(1)一般問句：Is it...？/Was it...？
(2)特殊問句實際上是將被強調的特殊疑問詞置于句首。

It is a fact that English is being accepted as an international language.(that引導主語從句，it是形式主語)
It was on October 5，1999 that the new city founded.(強調句)

強調句型總是“It be...that/who...”結構，若將該框架去掉，句子的意思仍然完整。而其他句型若拆掉“It be...that...”，句子就不能成立，如左邊含主語從句的句子；或者改變了“It be...that”框架，如左邊含定語從句的例子。 類別 例 句 結構解析 其他強調結構
